Mozilla Seabird - In The Dark
This feels as though it was inspired by the interface design work of Pranav Mistry. The product allows the user to work at the office without a conventional screen and keyboard. I have just one question: must the user work in the dark for it to work? I can't imagine the future being dark. I thought it was bright. I thought it was Orange!
Paper Cut
I remember doing something along the same lines when I was 15. But it was no where near as good as this.

All Change
The first image came from an earlier retouch project. Happy with that background the client then wanted to replace the occupants.

Fotografiska Preview
Just payed a visit to Fotografiska to see the preview of Sandy Skoglund (very colourful work), and Pieter ten Hoopen's (one image of a quiet Stockholm back street at night with a little snow on the ground had a familiar atmosphere about it ), exhibitions.
Took the opportunity to look at the work of Annie Leibovitz. Some of it was very stunning. Great to have the time to just appreciate great photographic work up close.

Sweet
I love packaging. Here's jkr's Silver Spoon case study in short:
The challenge was to make sugar, the everyday commodity that it is, into something people could engage with emotionally. To make Silver Spoon stand for something, to evolve it into a brand.
The resulting solution was a 'sweet' world - a forest of spoons. A world where consumers would step into.
The brand name no longer hiding behind or be challenged by the product type. Now it is at the heart of the story.

Pun Street Yellow Pages
Have just started to tune into Dave Gorman's Podcast here, and absolutely love the Pun Street section. Have just been checking out the complete list of prior entries here. Some of my favorites include:
Spruce Springclean (Cleaners)
Back to the Fuchsia (Florist) and
Brewed Awakening (mobile coffee).
All very clever - or at least I think so.

Such Vibrant Colours
Just love this intro. The turquoise surrounding harmonising with the oranges and reds. The pleasantness of the main tune disturbed by the irritatingly high pitched metallic sounds. And the vividness of visual detail representing Dexters obsessions.
